The European Commission has launched the Pact for Skills, a shared engagement model for skill development in Europe.
Individual companies, private or public organisations, regional or local partnerships, industrial ecosystems or cross-sectoral partnerships have joined the Pact.
The key principles of the charter are promoting a culture of lifelong learning for all: Building strong skill partnerships, monitoring skill supply and demand and anticipating needs, working against discrimination and for gender equality and equal opportunities.
German Theatre Technical Association has signed the Pact of Skills as a member of the ‘Creative Skills Europe Partnership’. In this context, the program ’Virtual Training Tools for Stage Technicians’ will be developed as a professional and internationally recognised competence-oriented learning and training method.
In 2022, several workshops will be organized in cooperation with international partners in Belgium, Italy, Finland and Sweden.
